1949 Roosevelt Dime NGC MS66		SOLD

This 1949 Roosevelt Dime has been graded MS66 by NGC and is encapsulated in an early version of the NGC holder often referred to as the Generation 3.0 holder. The Generation 3.0 holder had a bordered label on the obverse side and a heat-stamped golden NGC logo on the reverse of the slab raised up on the outside surface of the holder. The holder is also slightly thicker than a modern NGC holder and is typically called a "fatty" holder. Not only is this a collectible early NGC holder, but the coin itself is a moderately toned high grade example that has the look of a coin that was stored in an original mint set of the era for many years. Please note that the coin has rotated somewhat in the holder. An excellent example of a high grade toned Roosevelt Dime in an early and collectible NGC holder.
