Here is an attractive gem example of the 1945-S Mercury Dime which has been graded MS65 by PCGS. The coin is bright white on the obverse and exhibits strong original mint luster. The reverse has beautiful toning that fully covers the surfaces in most of the colors of the rainbow, but predominantly various shades of green and blue. When rotated under a light, a bit more color shows in hand that even my photos show. The coin has a few hits that limit the grade and the strike is slightly weak preventing the full bands designation. Overall, this is a very nice gem Mercury Dime that provides lots of eye appeal for the price. |
