This 1872 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar has been graded MS62 by PCGS. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light.. The coin is free of toning and is a bright white and lustrous example. That said, the luster is muted somewhat compared to higher graded examples and is likely one of the factors contributing to the relatively low mint state grade. The coin also has some light hairlines in the fields and some scattered light marks, most of which are minor except for an area of light scratches under the eagle’s head and a hit on the N of ONE on the reverse which are of note That said, the coin remains an excellent example of the Seated Liberty Dollar with motto, especially considering the assigned grade which is typically associated with unattractive coins or coins with major issues. |
