Here is an 1858 Three Cent Silver which has been graded AU50 by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. This lightly circulated trime has medium to dark toning on both sides that appears quite original. The coin is also free of the typical clashing that is seen on most examples of this date and many examples of the type in general. Some very light handling marks are present as one would expect at this grade, but there are certainly no major issues or distractions on this coin. A pleasing lightly circulated and unclashed example of the Type 2 three cent silver.
