Here is a SH1354 (1975) Iran 1/2 Pahlavi gold coin which has been graded MS65 by NGC and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is listed as KM #1199 in the Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins and is .900 fine gold with a total actual gold weight (AGW) of 0.1177 troy ounces. The SH1354 (1975) 1/2 Pahlavi gold coin is the first year of the type and has a very low mintage of only 37,000 coins. This example is very beautiful with wonderful original mint luster and virtually no marks or hits visible. The coin also features several die crack lines on both the obverse and reverse which add to the character of the coin. An attractive gem example of the type.
