This 1903 U.S.-Philippines Ten Centavos is graded AU55 by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. This coin was purchased as part of a 1903 proof set, but upon grading at PCGS it turned out that this coin was a business strike instead of a proof. Although not a proof, the fields of the coin are proof-like and quite reflective. The fields are also heavily hairlined on both sides, but the overall look in hand is not offensive. The coin is bright white, very lustrous and has only a touch of wear on the high points. |
