| The 1825/4/(2) Capped Bust Quarter is a popular overdate in the series. This example of the 1825/4/(2) Capped Bust Quarter has been graded VG10 by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The coin has also been attributed by PCGS as being the Browning 2 die pairing. The coin has wonderful eye appeal with its medium grey fields and lighter devices, making for a circulated cameo effect. The coin has no major hits, scratches or other distractions and appears to be a very strong example for the grade. A hint of the under digits of the date can be seen as well, despite being well circulated. A very cool looking early quarter. |
