This 1836-L MT Peru Silver 8 Reales has been graded AU55 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin is mostly untoned and retains much of the original mint luster. Many of the design details appear quite flat, especially towards the center of each side as the design was not fully struck up on this example. That said, it is clear that there is very little actual circulation wear on this coin.
