| This 1896 Morgan Silver Dollar has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The coin has very strong cartwheel luster on both sides and is a great looking piece. The toning of the coin is particularly attractive with the obverse nearly fully toned with golden, orange, red and blue colors. The reverse is also fully toned in a mostly teal or seafoam green color. There are several minor marks on the obverse, but much less than you normally see on an MS63 graded dollar. The reverse of the coin has one significant mark above the motto which clearly limited the overall grade of the coin, keeping it from grading a grade or two higher. That said, this is a beautiful Morgan Dollar that gives you lots of eye appeal for the money. |
