Here is an 1835.(c) British India Silver Rupee which has been certified by PCGS as having AU Details. This is the variety with the “F” incused at the bottom of the obverse bust and is cataloged as KM# 450.3 in the Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins. Please note that PCGS did not assign a numerical grade to this piece because of damage to the coin. The reverse of the coin unfortunately has a deep scratch between the N and E of ONE which prevents a numerical grade. That said, the coin exhibits strong details on both sides with minimal circulation wear. The coin also has decent luster and some light toning along parts of the rims. The surfaces of the coin show several small marks and light hairlines on both sides, but nothing as significant or distracting as the deep scratch on the reverse. Despite that damage to the reverse it is a well-detailed example of the type.
