1908 No Motto $20 St. Gaudens Gold PCGS MS64		SOLD

Here is a decent uncirculated example of what many collectors consider the most beautiful coin ever produced by the U.S. Mint. This 1908 No Motto $20 Gold St. Gaudens Double Eagle has been graded MS64 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin itself has a bright and fairly even gold color with plenty of cartwheel luster. The reverse is slightly dirty looking with a small copper spot just above the eagle. That, and a couple of light marks appear to have kept the coin from the gem grade. A decent No Motto $20 St. Gaudens gold double eagle.
