1897 Proof Barber Quarter PCGS PR65CAM		SOLD
This 1897 Proof Barber Quarter has been graded PR65CAM by PCGS. The coin also has been awarded the PQ sticker as a premium quality example. The proof mirrored fields on both sides of the coin are deep and show just a light haze. The devices have strong cameo frost and are quite eye appealing. Both the fields and devices exhibit light to moderate die lines, particularly on the obverse. Please note that there is a scratch across the obverse side of the PCGS holder that can be seen in the photos, but is not on the coin itself. The 1897 proof Barber Quarter had a total mintage of only 731 coins so it is scarce in all grades. A wonderful gem proof cameo Barber Quarter.
