This 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollar has been graded MS63* by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The star designation is given by NGC to coins with exceptional eye appeal. The coin has also been holdered with the reverse facing front to show off the amazingly attractive reverse color. The reverse is fully toned in beautiful rainbow target toning color. The colors range from nearly white in the lower center of the reverse to yellow, orange, blue, purple, pink, green and more; it’s got just about them all. The obverse of the coin is also attractively toned with similar vibrant and attractive colors that are concentrated at the lower and right hand sides of the coin. The coin also has excellent original mint luster that cartwheels around both sides of the coin and really helps those attractive colors come to life. Light marks and minor hits can be found on both sides of the coin in the fields and on the high points of the design, as one would expect at the assigned grade. Please note that there are some scratches on the plastic holder, mostly on the front side showing the reverse of the coin, but the coin remains protected in the holder. Overall, an amazing and attractive Morgan Dollar with eye appealing color on both sides. |
