This 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar has been graded MS63* by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The star designation is given by NGC to coins with exceptional eye appeal. The coin has also been holdered with the reverse facing front to show off the strong colorful toning that covers the entire reverse of the coin. The reverse is boldly toned in vibrant orange, blue and light green colors. Strong original mint luster cartwheels around both sides of the coin as well, helping to make that reverse color that much more eye appealing. The obverse is mostly untoned with just a touch of golden color at parts of the rim. As the grade would suggest, the coin has several marks and hits mostly focused on the high points of the obverse, but nothing too major and all appropriate for the assigned grade. An attractively toned and eye appealing example of the Morgan Dollar. |
