1898 Liberty Nickel PCGS MS65 CAC		SOLD

This 1898 Liberty Nickel has been graded MS65 by PCGS. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The coin has an above-average strike with strong and nearly fully formed stars and well defined hair on the obverse and decent details in the reverse wreath. The coin is a bright and lustrous untoned piece that has great eye appeal. The coin has just a few light marks on both sides, all of which are appropriate for the assigned grade, as well as a small rust-colored streak just above the V on the reverse that is somewhat less noticeable in hand than the photos show. A very pleasing overall gem graded specimen.
