1884-O Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64 DOILY		SOLD

Here is an 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS64 by PCGS and is housed in one of the very rare Doily label PCGS holders. This version of the PCGS holder was only used for a couple of weeks during late-1989 before it was quickly phased out. Accordingly, it has been reported that only a few hundred coins in this style of holder are known to exist today and they are highly sought after by collectors. The coin is lightly toned in a pleasing golden color on the obverse and is bright and untoned on the reverse. The coin exhibits strong mint luster and there are some light marks on each side consistent with the assigned grade. The two-piece Doily holder is in good condition with an outer stacking ring that has some minor inclusions in the plastic but is otherwise fully intact. A wonderful example of the Morgan Silver Dollar in the rare PCGS Doily holder!
