This 1989 $10 Gold 1/4 oz. Eagle has been graded MS69 by PCGS and is encapsulated in an old green label holder which is approximately twenty years old. This better date quarter-ounce gold eagle has very beautiful and colorful toning. Most of the surfaces are an attractive deeper gold color that is slightly brighter towards the center of the coin. Along the rims on both sides of the coin, beautiful colorful toning, mostly pink and green colors, add tons of overall eye appeal. No significant issues are evident when viewing this piece in hand as the color of the piece draws the attention of your eyes. Please note there are some light scratches in the plastic holder that show in the photos but are not on the coin itself. An amazing example of the date that looks better in person than the photos show.
